Kerala Nipah Virus  

After spending 47 days in hospital, a 23-year-old youth who had contracted the Nipah virus will be discharged on Tuesday. He was diagnosed with having contracted the Nipah Virus by Pune's National Institute of Virology on June 4.
 

A 53-year-old Nipah suspect in Puducherry continues to be critical and is undergoing treatment at the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER).
 

Kerala Health Minister KK Shylaja on Tuesday (June 4) said that the test results of a 23-year-old engineering student in Ernakulam, who was admitted at a Kochi private hospital with high fever, has confirmed the presence of Nipah virus. 
 

A year ago, Nipah virus had claimed 18 lives in Kerala’s Kozhikode. Now, a youth from Thrissur, who was admitted to a private hospital in Ernakulam with high fever for 10 days, has been affected by the Nipah virus
 

A youth who had gone for an internship programme at Keltron in Thrissur and returned home after he fell sick. Medical reports of his blood samples point towards a possible Nipha attack
