Kerala Lok Sabha Election  

Several celebrities from across the country participated in the Lok Sabha Election 2024. Here are their results and how they performed in the Indian elections. 

On Wednesday, CPM's mouthpiece Deshabhimani carried a post-poll evaluation report, prepared by the party's central committee which was discussed during the two-day state committee meeting in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The report suggests that the issue of entry of women in Sabarimala temple made a significant impact in the 2019 Lok Sabha election. 
 

A group of friends were watching the Lok Sabha election results in Kerala when an argument broke out. The issue escalated and a 31-year-old man from the group was attacked and sustained injuries to his chest 

Kerala’s Chief Electoral Officer, Teeka Ram Meena, spoke to the media on Saturday saying that people in Kerala would have to wait a little while longer to get the Lok Sabha results. He said that it might take about 9-10 hours to get the final result.

Civil police officer Vaisakh had earlier posted a video message on a WhatsApp group of police personnel. The voice message was that of Vaisakh asking another policeman to give him the postal ballots, which had to be handed over to a pro-CPM police association leader.

In separate incidents, nine people died near polling booths while waiting for their turn to cast their vote in Kerala for the Lok Sabha election. The state has registered a voter turnout of 77.68%, according to the figures released by the Election Commission.

In Kerala, a total of 2,61,51,534 voters will exercise their right to vote in the Lok Sabha polls. Among them 1,34,66,521 are women, 1,26,84,839 men and 174 are transgenders.
