Kerala Floods  

Amidst the heavy rains in Kerala, Sree Mahadeva Temple experienced floods and a heartwarming video has surfaced on the internet which shows an elderly man rescuing puppies.

In the wake of an H1N1 outbreak, the Kerala health department has issued an alert in the state. In this year a total of 42 people died, and 821 persons were confirmed to have contracted the disease in the state.
