Kerala Election  

After complaints of bogus voting, repolling is taking place in Kasargod and Kannur districts in Kerala. While four booths in Kasargod have gone for repolls, three have gone in Kannur district.
 

At a time when Kerala saw about 22.24% voter turnout, one among the voters in Kannur was a snake inside a VVPAT. The reptile caused delay in the voting process. But voting resumed after it was removed from the machine.

Polling has begun for 20 Lok Sabha seats in Kerala. A total of 2,61,51,534 voters are expected to exercise their right to vote today (April 23)

Surendran had initiated various protests against the September 2018 Supreme Court verdict allowing women of all age groups into Sabarimala. The clashes with the police even led to his arrest.

The Election Commission has issued directives to remove all wall writings, posters, banners and hoardings in government offices which display government achievements in accordance with the model code of conduct for the 2019 Lok Sabha election

From other parties, frontline leaders will join the BJP. The party is awaiting the entry of that strong leader, said Kerala BJP president Sreedharan Pillai.
