Kannada Language  

The Dravidian languages, primarily spoken in southern India, comprise a rich family with Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada as the most prominent. 

The Indian government recently granted classical language status to five more languages, bringing the total to eleven. These languages, with their ancient roots and rich literary traditions, represent the diverse cultural heritage of India.

 Days have gone by after the protests by Kannada activists took a sharp turn for the worse, resulting in vandalism of hoardings because of the use of Hindi language and the aftermath that followed. As social media continues to battle the issue, it makes sense for us to reflect on our attitude towards language.

BJP leader Ananth Kumar passed away after battling cancer at 2 AM in Bengaluru, today. He is known as the first person to address the United Nations in Kannada language in 2015.  
 

Tipu was anti-Kannada. He had administered Persian language as the official language. If Tipu jayanti is celebrated in Kannada Bhavan, it is an insult to the Kannada language. If the government dares, let them arrest us, said BJP leader R Ashoka.
