National Commission for Women speaks to Assam DGP after MyNation report exposed molestation of a group of Bihu dancers on June 7 at a post-Eid celebration in Asolpara village of Kamrup district. The mob even tried to force the women to dance naked.

Arup D Rabha, director of the dance group, who filed the police complaint alleges that the dancers were called to perform at a cultural show organised as a continuation of Eid celebration in the Asolpara village in Chaygaon area in Kamrup District

Kamrup Jaman has been caught. The west Burdwan police have claimed that he has targeted 12 women so far, out of whom six have been killed. He was out to kill his seventh target.

The Foreigners’ Tribunal had served notice to Sanaullah on September 4 last year and declared him a foreigner last Tuesday. According to the reports, a case was registered in the Foreigners’ Tribunal, Kamrup, in 2008.
