The Supreme Court will hear a batch of petitions with respect to the most controversial Sabarimala temple that brought massive criticisms for allowing women of all ages to enter the shrine

The Centre is expected to produce letters of support to the Supreme Court at 10 30am. A three-judge bench also issued a notice to Devendra Fadnavis, his deputy CM Ajit Pawar, the state and the Central government.

The order will be passed by a five-judge bench comprising Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi, Justices NV Ramana, DY Chandrachud, Deepak Gupta and Sanjiv Khanna. The bench had reserved the order on April 4.
