Jharkhand Elections  

The fifth and last phase of polling in Jharkhand came to an end finally, with the voter turnout at 70.83%. 

Voting for phase 4 in Jharkhand elections was recorded at 62.46 percent. Voters voted in huge numbers despite the threats issued by Maoists 

In the second phase of voting for Jharkhand Assembly elections, as many as 20 seats went to polls, with CM Raghubir Das contesting from Jamshedpur East constituency. The state recorded a voting percentage of 62.40% till 5pm 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that the NDA is working towards the development while marking the successful completion of six months in his second term. The BJP in Maharashtra led by Devendra Fadnavis staged a walkout in the Maharashtra Assembly stating that norms were flouted ahead of the floor test. They will approach the Governor. 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address two rallies in Jharkhand’s Daltonganj and Gumla, ahead of the elections in the state. Jharkhand will go to polls in five phases from November 30 to December 20.
