The third, of the five-phase Jharkhand Assembly election kickstarted on Thursday (December 12). Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter and urged people to vote in large numbers.

In the first phase of the Jharkhand Assembly election, voting was held in 13 constituencies, and voter turnout was recorded at approximately 64.12% on November 30

A total turnout of 62.87% was witnessed in the first phase of polling in Jharkhand on Saturday (November 30). 13 constituencies out of 81 went to polls in the first phase. Jharkhand will vote in four more phases on December 7, 12, 16 and 20 and the results will be declared on December 23.
