Addressing the media outside the Chennai airport, Minister for Fisheries (Tamil Nadu) said that MK Stalin and the DMK change colours and seek opportunities with those in power. This, in reference to Stalin attending YSRCP leader Jaganmohan Reddy's swearing-in ceremony.

A day after the meeting of Telangana chief minister and Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leader, K Chandrasekhar Rao with Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) chief MK Stalin, reports have now come in stating that the DMK is trying to woo the BJP for five cabinet berths.

Speaking to reporters, Tamil Nadu fisheries minister D Jayakumar said that the AIADMK would gladly welcome an alliance with any other party apart from DMK and AMMK.

According to Jayakumar, it is not possible to hike the pay for the secondary grade school teachers as the pay for other cadres would have to be raised.

The leaders who have resigned are BJP state committee member Vellanad Krishnakumar, party's district leaders Uzhamalakkal Jayakumar, Tholokode Surendran and V Sukumaran. They alleged that the BJP was trying to drive a wedge in society by using the Sabarimala issue.

In the audio clip, an unidentified woman is in conversation with a man, who identifies himself as Jayakumar. The woman is heard alleging that Jayakumar impregnated her daughter. Jayakumar is heard asking the woman to go ahead with abortion.
