Pakistan is already in a thick soup after a Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) suicide bomber rammed an SUV car with 350 kg of explosives into a security convoy of 78 vehicles carrying over 2,500 personnel in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir

The security forces, along with the Jammu and Kashmir police, had launched a cordon and search operation overnight at Pinglan village in Pulwama district after a brief exchange of fire. At least two or three militants were believed to be trapped at the site.
 

Sources also suggest that Rashid may be called for questioning and asked to explain what evidence she had to tweet about the Kashmiri girls being trapped that led to chaos and confusion and spread panic among the minority sections of the society.

Some in mainstream and social media had claimed that the government had exposed CRPF soldiers to danger before the Pulwama massacre by refusing to provide them aircraft.

Major Bisht was leading a bomb disposal squad team for sanitisation after mines were detected in Naushera sector of Rajouri on Saturday. He defused one of the mines successfully but suffered grievous injuries while neutralising another. 

In the wake of the Pulwama attack, the Indian government has decided to withdraw the security cover and other facilities provided to Kashmiri separatist leaders Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Abdul Ghani Bhat, Bilal Lone, Hashim Qureshi and Shabir Shah.

The Army has taken precautionary measures and deployed nine security columns including air support in Jammu. The move comes after the city saw stray incidents of protests, stone pelting on Friday.

 H Guru (33) from Gudigere village near KM Doddi from Mandya district, Karnataka, is, unfortunately, one of the 39 jawans, who lost their lives in the suicide attack at Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir.
