Indian intel stiffs joint action plan by Islamist and Khalistani terror groups and underworld to carry out logistically well-synchronised attacks on high-profile targets, alerts local and foreign ‘assets' 

Terror outfits have pasted posters warning people not to send their children to Army goodwill school. These posters were reportedly seen in areas of south Kashmir. Police are trying to verify the authenticity of the poster written in Urdu but claims that terrorists in past have made a similar threat and have asked people to stay away from forces and not cooperate with them.

 

 

Polling is being held in 14 seats in Uttar Pradesh, 12 in Rajasthan, seven seats each in West Bengal and Madhya Pradesh, five in Bihar and four in Jharkhand. In Jammu and Kashmir, polling will take place in Ladakh constituency and Pulwama and Shopian districts of Anantnag seat.

According to the state police, the grenades were thrown at Rohomoo polling station in the district, when polling was underway for Anantnag Lok Sabha constituency. So far there are no reports of any casualties.

Election to 542 Lok Sabha seats is being conducted in seven phases between April 11 and May 19. Election in Vellore constituency in Tamil Nadu has been cancelled following excess use of money power. Results will be declared on May 23.
