The government of India has banned Jammu & Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), taking strong action against terrorism. According to the government, the decision to ban the organisation was taken after the Pulwama attack. A total of 37 FIRs have been registered by J&K Police against JKLF

Shahid Manzoor, the friend of Jamaat-e-Islami preacher Rizwan Asad Pandit, has reportedly joined terrorist organisation Hizbul Mujahideen. This comes as a big jolt especially after the security forces claimed recently that recruitment by terrorist organisations had gone down in Kashmir. 

The Jamaat-e-Islami member said that he knew about hidden RDX in Khrew area, following which he was taken to the location. However, other than cooperating with cops, he tried to escape and the accident happened.
