The Intelligence Bureau (IB) said that Islamabad has released Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Masood Azhar. This news comes from two officials who are aware of the developments. The IB has alerted the government about the deployment of additional Pakistani troops along the border near Rajasthan.
 

Prior to India's decision to brand Masood Azhar and three other notorious criminals as terrorists, the United States, in May had designated Jaish-e-Mohammed chief as a "global terrorist" after China lifted its hold on a proposal to blacklist him.

Just a day ago, India said it would patiently wait for China to allow blacklisting Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Masood Azhar. The Chinese envoy Luo Zhaohui said he is optimistic that the matter will be resolved.

The call to boycott Chinese products was raised after China, for fourth time, blocked India's attempt to have Jaish-e-Mohammed chief and Pulwama attack mastermind Maulana Masood Azhar blacklisted by the UNSC
