Internet Services  

Submissions were made in response to a plea filed by Foundation for Media Professionals seeking restoration of 4G internet services in the Union Territory.
 

Just a day after internet was restored in Jammu, mobile internet services have once again been shut in five districts
 

According to reports, the 2G mobile internet services have been restored in Jammu, Samba, Kathua, Udhampur and Reasi districts following an order by Inspector General of Police (IGP)

Section 144 has been imposed on Jammu and Kashmir and as a result no trucks are allowed to and from the Union territory. Good trains, even those that carry perishable goods have been stalled at Jammu border for the last two days.

 

 The operation has concluded, which broke out at Zagoo Arizal area of the district

The Internet services in the Kupwara district have been suspended “as a precautionary measure”. Schools and colleges have also been closed in the district and also in south Kashmir.
