Infrastructure Project  

The government announced Rs 1.5 lakh crore in interest-free loans for states and significant investments in infrastructure, road connectivity, and rural development in the Union Budget 2024-25.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the first coach made under ‘Make in India’ programme. The Prime Minister also inaugurated three metro lines and also launched several infrastructure projects worth Rs 20,000 crore.

PM Narendra Modi will be visiting Bengaluru, Hubballi, Kalaburagi in Karnataka and Kancheepuram in Tamil Nadu on Wednesday. He will be on an inauguration-spree with many developmental programmes lined up.

Union minister Nitin Gadkari urged the state governments in the region to regularly monitor the progress of the infrastructure projects. on Monday, he reviewed all national highway projects in the eight northeast states.
