 The nation rises in support of Indian scientists of ISRO and its mission Chandrayaan-2 after its plan to soft land Vikram near the moon's south pole did not go as per script. It's not just Prime Minister Modi, but citizens and celebrities from the world of cinema and sports have come together to say they are proud of ISRO.

It’s a proud moment for India as Chandrayaan-2 will soft-land on the lunar surface of the moon in a few hours from now. It was launched on July 22.

According to reports, the ARIES team of researchers performed photometric observations of the globular cluster NGC 4147 using 3.6-metre Devasthal Optical Telescope (DOT) established in 2016 near Nainital.
 

PM Modi said, 'This Gaganyaan will be taken to space by an Indian, powered by the research efforts of the Indian scientists. When that happens, India will become the fourth nation in the world to have sent man to space.'
