Indian army in a joint operation with their counterpart in Myanmar have destroyed at least a dozen terror camps belonging to insurgent groups Arakan Army and NSCN-K (Nationalist Socialist Council of Nagaland -Khaplang).

Showkat Ahmed Naik was a former special police officer (SPO) of Jammu and Kashmir Police. He had come to join the Army but did not complete the process 

The Indian security forces have eliminated 18 terrorists since the Pulwama attack, 14 out of whom were from the JeM. Six out of those 14 were district commanders.
