India Pakistan Border  

The Lakhpat Fort in Gujarat marks the India-Pakistan border. The village earned its name, Lakhpat, because every resident had immense wealth at some point. Lakhpat Fort had a population of over 15,000.

Kartarpur village is a historical place for the Sikh community as it was the residence of Guru Nanak Dev during the last 18 years of his life. Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib is situated just 5 kilometres away from the India-Pakistan border, making it a globally renowned tourist place.

Speaking at an event Pakistan's foreign minister Mr Quereshi criticised India for pursuing offensive military doctrines, engaging in nuclear blackmail, rejecting proposals for strategic restraint and refusing to resolve outstanding disputes through dialogue. So the govt of Pakistan thinks that India is posing a threat for them and why is it so?

Pakistan violated ceasefire in Jammu and Kashmir’s Hiranagar sector. The neighbouring army targeted civilian areas. The BSF retaliated effectively.
 

Tremors were felt in India-Pakistan border. An earthquake of 6.3 magnitude was experienced in some parts of Delhi-NCR and north India. Tremors were also experienced in Pakistan.
 

Union home minister Amit Shah said that the Modi government will not tolerate anyone who breaches India’s territory. The move will be dealt with strongly, added the home minister. His statements come ahead of the anniversary of the Uri attack. 

The Sikh girl who was allegedly kidnapped and forced to convert to Islam is yet to be reunited with family in India. The information came from a top official of the Sikh community. The girl is currently lodged at a shelter home in Lahore.

Border Security Force (BSF) nabbed an Indian trying to cross over to Pakistan for terrorist training. He has been identified as Shahid Ali and has been handed over to the police. Shahid was allegedly in touch with terrorists in Pakistan through WhatsApp.
 

Soldiers hailing from different parts of Karnataka have aborted their vacation and reported back to duty in a hurry. Rising tension at the border after India-Pakistan air clashes has forced their superiors to summon them back immediately. 
 

Only international flights going to London, Muscat, Helsinki, etc are being allowed to fly, as they are supposed to enter from the Indian air space to Pakistan air space
