Keerthika Govindhasamy, a YouTuber from Tamil Nadu, shared her journey of overcoming societal constraints, battling for independence, and pursuing her passion for archaeology despite familial opposition. She emphasizes the importance of education and empowerment for girls and advocates for a future free from societal limitations

Nageshu, born in Odisha, works as guest lecturer during the day, and a porter during the nights. Due to difficult financial circumstances, he could only manage to complete his education while working as a labourer and a porter. He also runs a coaching centre where he provides free education to the underprivileged children.

At 11, Dev Pratap ran away from his home after stealing Rs 120. He collected trash from roads and railway stations to earn a living. One day, the police arrested him for consuming drugs and he remained in police custody for 15 days. A stranger secured bail for Dev and found him work at a roadside eatery. This event had a profound impact on Dev Pratap’s life that led him to form an organization called ‘Voice of Slum.’
