IFS officer Himanshu Tyagi shared a story of two friends from IIT Delhi on social media who started their UPSC journey together. One cracked UPSC and became an IPS officer. And the other one started coaching for IIT-JEE.

After achieving AIR 1, Kalpit Veerwal secured admission in the computer science and engineering programme at IIT Bombay. During the placement drive, he chose not to participate and instead founded an online edtech company.

Ganesh Mohan has been serving as the CEO of Bajaj Finserv Asset Management Limited since November 2021. This company, a subsidiary of Bajaj Finserv Limited, has a market capitalization of Rs 2,51,000 crore.

Many IIT alumni earn lucrative salaries in lakhs and crores. Salil Parekh, alumnus of IIT Bombay, is the CEO of India’s second largest tech company, Infosys. He is among the top earners.

IITians are globally recognized for their exceptional intelligence and entrepreneurial skills. Sundar Pichai, an Indian-American business executive, holds the position of CEO at both Alphabet Inc. and Google. Sachin Bansal is the founder of the e-commerce giant, Flipkart. IIT alumni have left a significant mark on the world stage with their remarkable talents and achievements.
