BJP MP from Mysore Pratap Simha said that former PM Indira Gandhi was the reason why there are English and Hindi writings on boards in national highways and trains.  

While Balyan says that his area is certainly proud of the IAF airstrike in Pakistan’s Balakot, they also see his developmental work in the region such as increasing the number of highways, upgrade of the railway facilities, connecting the area to the national capital region, etc.

It is reported that the Ayyappa Jyothi programme would be held on December 26 between 6pm to 6:30pm along the national highways, from Kasaragod district to Thiruvananthapuram district. The BJP state president, Sreedharan Pillai said that the Ayyappa Jyothi is all about love and inclusiveness, not like the women's wall which is for separation and hatred. 

The IDTs were conducted on eight highways - Asanol to Gaya, Bangalore to Murdeshwar, Dehradun to Nainital, Digha to Asanol, Gaya to Danapur, Mount Abu to Jodhpur, Raipur to Jagdalpur and Srinagar to Leh. According to TRAI, IDTs were conducted between August 16 and October 4
