Heavy Rain  

An old lady and her granddaughter got the scare of their lives as they got stuck in a farmland, owing to heavy rains in Karnataka. As they raised an alarm, passersby rushed in, rescued them to safety with the help of a ladder and rope.

A yellow alert has been issued in 10 districts of Kerala on June 11. Malappuram, Kozhikode and Kannur districts of Kerala are indicated to have heavy rains. The Indian Meteorological Department also announced an orange alert in these three districts on June 12.
