The Indian Ministry of Health and Family Welfare posted on X, providing information about the symptoms of heat-related illnesses and precautions to combat them. 

Cardiovascular diseases are the leading cause of death in India. Consumption of Tobacco is one of the major factors contributing to heart problems and something needs to be done immediately. Ministry of Health recently posted factors that contribute to cardiovascular diseases on X to spread awareness. 

The Health and Family Welfare Ministry has proposed the draft amendment to the Drugs and Magic Remedies (Objectionable Advertisements Act, 1954), seeking to introduce a jail term of up to five years and a fine of up to Rs 50 lakh for advertisements for drugs, ‘magic remedies’ and other products promoting fair skin, enhancing sexual performance, treating stammering, infertility in women, premature ageing and greying of hair and so on.
