Congress leader Hardik Patel has labelled NRIs as ones those who ‘didn’t like India’ in his rush to defame and demolish Narendra Modi’s reputation. 

Hardik Patel, a known Modi critic has resorted to fearmongering as India efficiently fights coronavirus pandemic under PM Modi’s leadership. 

Hardik Patel and Jignesh Mewani, the two leaders from Gujarat, were asked to go back as they tried to score some political brownie points during a student agitation in Gandhinagar.

Patel's statement was made to target Modi's "Chowkidar Chor hai" slogan. But this is not the first time that the term is being used with racist intent.

Soon after slapping Hardik Patel, he was beaten black and blue by the Congress leaders’ supporters and had to be taken to the hospital for treatment.
