Green Crackers  

Different firecracker regulations are in effect across India for Diwali. Some states have a complete ban, while others permit green crackers. 

The holy city of Varanasi is preparing to celebrate Dev Deepawali with grandeur. On November 15, the ghats of Varanasi will be decorated with more than 12 lakh diyas. The illumination will be accompanied by a laser show and green fireworks.

Green firecrackers are the need of the hour as general fireworks only increase noise pollution and are harmful to the environment. The importance of green crackers  has been simplified by Supriya Krishnamurthy on MyNation.
