The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has released new updates for linking RuPay cards to UPI services. The changes are in effect from March 31, 2024 onwards. 

Tech giant, Google has faced a $5 billion lawsuit for collecting and storing incognito mode search data of its users. While the company has agreed to delete the data, it raises concerns over the state of data privacy and anonymity on the internet.

The Indian government has announced that the AI tech companies need to seek government approval before launching in India. The companies need to label their AI as unreliable and should have a "consent popup" if the technology is in an under-trail phase. The advisory was released amidst the Google Gemini and PM Modi controversy.
