Kerala police officers help with cleaning homes of victims in flood-hit zones 
 

Administration, students and staff members of  VO Chidambaram college of arts and science in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, donate relief materials worth Rs 4 lakh to the victims suffering in the flood-hit zones of Kerala.

Kerala flood relief: 60 trucks were sent to the State from Art of Living centres across India. Each truck carried 500 tons of everyday essentials costing more than Rs 9.35 crore.

While Indian swimmer Sajan Prakash's family is stuck in flood-hit Kerala, he nearly misses medal to the country. He finished in the fifth place in the 200m butterfly men.

The Indian Air Force (IAF) continued its rescue operations in flood-hit Kerala. IAF’s Mi-17 helicopters have airlifted people who were stranded. IAF said it was committed in defence of skies and saving precious lives on ground. So far IAF pilots have rescued several people from various districts of Kerala.
