In India, women possess specific rights that aim to empower and protect them. These ten rights tackle essential issues like equality, safety, and well-being, helping to create a more just and equitable society.

 India has launched impactful government initiatives to empower women, spanning from education and health support to financial security and safety.

Under NAMO Drone Didi Scheme, women will receive training in various aspects of drone operation, including flying drones, data analysis, and drone maintenance over the course of 15 days.

Ravi Prasad sources banana trees from nearby farmers for his handicraft business. To date, he has provided training to 700 women in the art of crafting banana fibre products. On average, his business generates sales of approximately Rs 2 to 2.5 lakh per month.

In his village, Rajesh Ojha observed tribal women selling fruits by covering a daily distance of 10 to 15 kilometres. In 2017, he founded Jovaki Agrofood India to help them. He bought fruits daily at market rates, offering them a reliable source of income.

An all-woman bikers contingent of the CRPF will make its debut and showcase daredevil stunts at the January 26 Republic Day parade at Rajpath. The 65-member team will display its acrobatic skills on 350cc Royal Enfield Bullet motorcycles towards the end of the over 90-minute-long parade.
