Donald Trump On Kashmir Issue  

External Affairs minister Jaishankar who is in the Thailand capital to attend a number of conferences including ASEAN meeting informed his American counterpart Mike Pompeo that any discussion on Kashmir, if at all warranted, will only be with Pakistan and only bilaterally. 

External affairs minister S Jaishankar in a tweet has made it very clear that the Kashmir issue remains a bilateral issue and that India doesn’t require US President Donald Trump’s intervention. 

Speaking to reporters outside the White House, US President Donald Trump has reiterated that if India and Pakistan wished for his help, he’s be happy to intervene.

President of the United States of America has once again brought up the Kashmir issue and stated that if India and Pakistan wished, he was ready to intervene. 

Congress demanded Prime Minister Narendra Modi's statement on Donald Trump claiming that India had sought his mediation to solve the Kashmir issue. Opposition parties were shouting slogans in the well of the Lok Sabha.
