Sources say that Karnataka chief minister HD Kumaraswamy and Ramalinga Reddy, the Congress MLA from BTM Layout (Bengaluru) might fly to Mumbai to pacify the disgruntled MLAs. Sources added that Reddy might be made the chief minister and Ramesh Jarkiholi his deputy

Karnataka chief minister HD Kumaraswamy made last minute amends to ensure the support of missing MLAs. All this in a bid to ensure their support while presenting the budget on February 8.

BJP leader and party spokesperson Vaman Acharya expressed that the saffron party wants to dislodge the current coalition government in Karnataka as it is corrupt. He said BJP has a list of 20 disgruntled MLAs from the Congress and JD(S) and 15 are willing to crossover
