Sri Lanka saw eight blasts on Easter Sunday that killed as many as 290 people. Police defused a ninth bomb and arrested 13 people. Curfew that had been imposed indefinitely has been lifted.

Six blasts have been reported from Sri Lanka and the death toll has touched 138. About 400 people have been injured in the attack. 200 troops have been deployed to carry out rescue operation.
