The Delhi high court has rejected Congress leader P Chidambaram’s bail plea in the INX media case. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had arrested Chidambaram from his residence in New Delhi and is currently lodged in Tihar jail.

Madhya Pradesh CM Kamal Nath’s nephew Ratul Puri was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate on August 20 from Delhi in connection with Rs 3,600 crore bank fraud case.

The Supreme Court (SC) on Monday (September 16) allowed Congress leader and former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Ghulam Nabi Azad to visit the region. A bench headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi told Azad to not indulge in any political rally, but to file a ground report.
