Reacting to news of BS Yeddyurappa performing special prayers to become Karnataka chief minister, sources from the Congress confessed that the party has toppled governments before with inducements.

Yeddyurappa had referred to Deve Gowda and Kumaraswamy and said that the father-son duo would destroy Congress.

JD(S) leader Prakash was murdered on Monday. Party workers suspect the involvement of a few Congress leaders. While Karnataka chief minister HD Kumaraswamy courted controversy with his shootout order, the rift between JD(S) and Congress grew further apart.
