Congress and TDP have now formalised the alliance, thanks to the dissolution of Telangana assembly by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) who wants to go for early elections. TRS, however, cannot believe that TDP is joining hands with Congress of all parties.

Telangana Governor ESL Narsimhan has accepted the resignation of KCR and appointed him as the care taker chief minister of Telangana. Thus, elections will be held within six months in the State.
 

According to reports, a cabinet meeting might take place at 1.30pm after which KCR is highly likely to meet the governor of the state, EL Narasimhan to make it official.

BJP MP Rajeev Chandrasekhar has donated Rs 25 lakh to Kerala relief fund and Rs 10 lakh for the relief work in Kodagu, Karnataka.
