Karnataka chief minister says it's Operation Lotus, but says he has everything under control. BJP's BS Yeddyurappa hits back.

The Centre for Military Airworthiness and Certification (CEMILAC) has given the green signal to Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (LTD) under Final Operational Clearance (FOC) configuration. 

Siddis, believed to be the descendants of the Bantu people in East Africa, inhabit Belgaum and Dharwad regions of the state. There are 32,000 Siddis in Karnataka, as per records.

Karnataka chief minister HD Kumaraswamy met Arun Jaitley and discussed about GST and made some requests. Talks were held with minister Piyush Goyal on coal blocks and new railway lines needed for Karnataka's growth.
 

In Tamil Nadu, 38 centres including Kanyakumari witnessed Ayyappa Jyothi. In Kanyakumari, the Ayyappa Jyothi event was held at Vivekananda Rock Memorial. Ayyappa Jyothi was lit in 12 other states

Chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao also asked the Centre to grant Rs 100 crore from its part of Compensatory Afforestation Fund Management and Planning Authority (CAMPA) funds for supporting the state government’s initiative of developing 188 forests blocks in Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) limits.
