The Delhi high court has refused bail to former Union finance minister P Chidambaram in the INX Media case. 

The Delhi high court has rejected Congress leader P Chidambaram’s bail plea in the INX media case. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had arrested Chidambaram from his residence in New Delhi and is currently lodged in Tihar jail. 

 Sabarimala had turned into a battlefield last year after the Supreme Court's verdict allowing women to enter the shrine. However, women now say that they will wait till they turn 50 to enter the shrine. The CBI has now accused senior Congress leader and former finance minister P Chidambaram of destroying evidence of his meeting with Indrani Mukerjea, who has turned approver in the INX Media case.
