Ramanagara's BJP candidate, L Chandrashekar withdrew his nomination just 48 hours ahead of the Karnataka by-election.

Talking to media, Chandrashekhar said that he did not get the required support from BJP to campaign in his constituency - Ramanagara.

Ramanagara candidate Chandrashekhar has submitted a letter claiming that he is withdrawing his nomination just 48 hours before polling.

It has become a matter of pride to TRS to win the election, scheduled for December 7, 2018, in Telangana. The candidates surely seem to be bending backwards to lure the voters.

Former Karnataka minister Janardhan Reddy accused DK Shivakumar of distributing money  to voters in Ballari for the upcoming by-election. 'DK Shivakumar is free and I will wait till he comes and I will expose  him,' said Reddy.

Ugrappa, the Congress candidate, is being supported and campaigned for in the district by senior Congress leaders, including DK Shivakumar, Krishna Byre Gowda, Priyank Kharge and former chief minister Siddaramaiah.

IRS officer Lakshmi Ashwin Gowda betrayed by the JD(S) for the second time. MLC LR Shivarame Gowda announced as the candidate for Mandya Lok Sabha by-election in Karnataka. JD(S) said that such things are common, while BJP slammed chief minister HD Kumaraswamy.
