Cabinet Meet  

The Kerala Cabinet meeting has decided to provide more benefits to IAS officers in the state. The nod for these benefits was given by the Seventh Pay Commission
 

The special cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi also observed a two-minute silence in the memory of Ananth Kumar.

A six-time Member of Parliament,  Ananth Kumar had climbed the political ladder steadily from being an RSS worker to becoming a Union minister in his thirties.

The decision was taken at a Cabinet meeting, Karnataka Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Krishna Byre Gowda told reporters here.

Following the cabinet meeting at 1.30pm, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao met the governor of the State, EL Narasimhan to dissolve the assembly.

According to reports, a cabinet meeting might take place at 1.30pm after which KCR is highly likely to meet the governor of the state, EL Narasimhan to make it official.
