The incident took place in Khureji area of Shahdara District. During the dispersal after Namaz, a Honda City car was seen driving rashly near the Muslim devotees. Exactly what happened is still unclear. 

The RTO officials along with the district collector K Veera Raghava Rao inspected more than 400 school buses in Ramanathapuram district of Tamil Nadu

Kerala Police have booked 28 buses as part of the operation night riders, an initiative undertaken by the motor vehicles department in the state to crack down on private luxury bus companies that violate rules. Members of Central Trade Unions have called a 2-day nation-wide strike demanding minimum wages and social security schemes among other things. In some places, protesters burnt tyres and vandalised buses.
