Bulandshahr Violence  

The soldier's wife says that she had received a call from her husband at the time that police say the murder of cop Subodh Kumar Singh happened when Jeetu Fauji said he was with some fellow jawans who were on the way to Bulandshahr.

Jeetendra Malik’s mother identified as Ratan Kaur said that the police badly beat up Jitu's wife and even picked her up and kept her in an unknown place. During the raid, the police also broke goods including their TV and fridge

The Bulandshahr violence took place in Mahao village in Syana area of Bulandshahr, some 100 km from Delhi, when a cow carcass was allegedly found in a thicket.

Anand Kumar, ADG (law and order), said that the state government has set up a multi-member SIT to probe the various angles that might be involved in the incident in Bulandshahr and called for the submission of the intelligence report
