A Boeing spokesperson stated that the 777X encountered an issue during “final load testing” which subjects the plane to stresses beyond normal operational loads
 

Amid the crisis that has racked Jet in the recent times, around 260 pilots from Jet Airways have now applied to join SpiceJet airlines. 

The civil aviation secretary added that around 30-35 flights of SpiceJet are likely to be affected on Thursday. SpiceJet has the largest number of the controversial Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft.

The comment was made minutes after the United Kingdom joined the force of nations grounding the B737 planes after it crashed for the second time in a span of five months

The core problem, according to aviation experts, is that the pilots are not being trained on the Boeing 737 simulators, which in turn is hindering their ability to take sudden decisions and control the plane during the crisis.

DGCA will take a decision to ground the Boeing 737-MAX planes in India on Wednesday at 4 pm post the crash of an Ethiopian Airlines flight, earlier this week, killing 157 people.

The brand new Boeing 737 MAX 8 plane plunged into the Java Sea on Monday, just minutes after taking off from Jakarta, killing all 189 people on board.
