Bjp In Telangana  

The BJP in Telangana have demanded a National Register of Citizens in the state over alleged illegal immigrants in the state. The Telangana BJP alleged that the TRS-led government and its ally AIMIM was turning a blind eye to the issue. 

Though it could win only one of the total 119 seats in the Assembly elections held in December last year, the BJP is upbeat about its prospects in Telangana after bagging four of the 17 constituencies in recent Lok Sabha election
 

Neither Prime Minister Narendra Modi nor BJP president Amit Shah nor party activists were resting on their laurels after the party's massive victory in Lok Sabha polls, said BJP vice-president Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

The BJP in Telangana has announced a state-wide bandh on May 2, seeking justice for the victims of the intermediary exams. As many as 20 students committed suicide in just a week under the belief that they had failed the intermediary exams.
