Akshay Kumar reached Karnataka’s Mysuru to join Bear Grylls for the shoot. The show Into the Wild with Bear Grylls is inspired by the enormously popular show Man Vs Wild, which also featured Grylls.

Activists who are protesting the felling of trees for the metro car shed in Mumbai’s Aarey colony have now sought the help of Japan PM Shinzo Abe.The Mumbai metro project is partly funded by Japan and will require cutting down of 2,700 trees at Mumbai's green lung.

The special episode of Man Vs Wild with Bear Grylls and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was shot in the Jim Corbett National Park. It aired at 9pm on Discovery Channel on August 12. 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi braved the tough weather and rough terrains of the Jim Corbett National Park in Uttarakhand for his first vacation in 18 years. PM Modi was in company with survivalist Bear Grylls on Discovery India’s Man vs Wild.

The much-awaited adventurous show, "Man Vs Wild" will be broadcast today (August 12) at 9 pm on 12 Discovery channels in India that will also be showcased in as many as 180 countries
