A division bench of justice R Sudhakar and justice Aruna Jagadeesan of the Madras high court held that conducting Ayudha Puja or Saraswathi Puja in government offices is not a non-secular activity. It is pertinent to note that that Madras high court had once ruled that performing Ayudha puja or Saraswati puja in government offices was not non-secular.
