Apple is set to announce new iOS updates at its annual developer conference, WWDC 2024, in June. Experts believe this update might be the biggest in iPhone's history. Belgian researchers have developed an artificial intelligence (AI) technique for beer analysis that uses models to forecast beer ratings from consumers and pinpoint the scent components that may improve the flavors of the brews.

The Indian government has announced that the AI tech companies need to seek government approval before launching in India. The companies need to label their AI as unreliable and should have a "consent popup" if the technology is in an under-trail phase. The advisory was released amidst the Google Gemini and PM Modi controversy.

The IMF evaluated the potential consequences of AI and expressed concerns about its potential to cause social and economic inequality globally. IMF Chief Kristalina Georgieva has urged policymakers to actively take measures to prevent such circumstances arising from the use of AI.

Salvatore Aiello and Monica Powers built an AI company using ChatGPT and sold it for US $150,000 that is equivalent to Rs 1.2 crore. Despite having full-time jobs, the two worked together in their off-hours and built an AI company called ‘DimeADozen.’ This tool can be used to test new business ideas and assess the future performance.

Kumar Satyam launched his startup with an aim of providing better internet facilities in the rural areas. Through the use of Digigram platform, various services like e-education, e-health, e-governance, e-commerce can be accessed.

Disappointed by Sam Altman’s views about India’s technological and AI advancements, Kanpur’s Tushar Trivedi developed his own model of an AI chatbot. The model is currently undergoing the testing phase and will be launched in early 2024.

The Indian economy is seeing a rapid shift towards automation and digitalization. With technological advancements, automation has not only enabled faster production of goods but has also created new opportunities for employment in the IT sector. Automation helped India to become one of the leading countries in the world in terms of technology and is expected to boost economic growth in the coming years.
