Just days after the news of a seven-year-old found dead in Coimbatore sent shock waves across Tamil Nadu, reports of a 15-year-old kidnapped and gangraped, have come in. Police have made two arrests and are looking for one person who is currently absconding.

Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections and the by-polls in Tamil Nadu, the Election flying squad teams are on its toes conducting vehicular checks. The recent check on a DMK SUV in Chennai unearthed 270 voter identity cards. Seven people have been arrested.
