Annual Pilgrimage  

The Amarnath cave is considered to be one of the holiest shrines in Hinduism and hundreds of thousands of devotees make an annual pilgrimage to it across challenging mountainous terrain

Sabarimala shrine opened today for the 41-day annual pilgrimage season. Security has been heightened around the hill shrine. More than 10,000 cops will be deployed in four phases.

K Krishna Saagar Rao, Telangana BJP chief spokesperson slammed Pakistan for its state-sponsored terrorism that is affecting the people of Kashmir, while cutting short the Amarnath yatra.  

Kanwar Yatra 2019 is an annual pilgrimage by the devotees of Lord Shiva to Haridwar and allied places. This year, T-shirts with prints of PM Modi and Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath are the main attractions for the devotees.

Sabarimala temple has opened for 70-day-long annual pilgrimage. The current priest will hand over the keys of the sanctum sanctorum to the new priest.
