After the continuous search operation in the bad weather and difficult terrain of north-east, the wreckage of the missing aircraft was spotted by Mi-17 helicopter of IAF.

The aircraft P81 is airborne from INS Rajali, Arakkonam Naval Air Station, Tamil Nadu on Friday. The aircraft has been equipped with special sensors, radars which will help locate the missing plane during the search operation, the Indian Navy said.

Deputy commissioners of Siang and West Siang apprised the chief minister about the steps initiated by them to trace the missing aircraft and said that they are working in close coordination with each other
 

The Indian Air Force has deployed all available resources to locate the aircraft, sources said

The IAF has launched a special search operation involving a Sukhoi-30 combat aircraft and C-130 special aircraft to locate the missing aircraft.
 

An IAF AN-32 overran runway 27 while departing from Mumbai Airport for Yelahanka Air Force Station near Bengaluru, Karnataka. The incident happened at 11.39 PM on Monday. No injuries have been reported.
