Naidu will meet Deve Gowda at his residence at Padmanabha Nagar in Bengaluru, and Kumaraswamy would also be present during the meeting.

Kumaraswamy hailed the people for their support to the coalition government of the Janata Dal (Secular) and the Congress and said the two parties would contest the 2019 polls together in all the 28 constituencies in the state.

Congress-JD(S) alliance won Ballari, Mandya, Ramanagara and Jamkhandi constituencies whereas BJP managed to win only Shivamogga.
